Court Timeline Template (PDF) — Free
Looking for a court timeline template you can fill out and print? TimelineCourt structures the essentials: date, time, event title, people involved, and notes. It’s ideal for small-claims, landlord–tenant disputes, and contract issues.
Try it: TimelineCourt
How to tailor it to your case
Start by collecting every message, receipt, or photo that supports your claim. Enter the earliest event first, then move forward in order. The time field can be used for specific timestamps, approximations like “Morning,” or you can leave it blank if the date alone is enough. Use the notes column to reference supporting exhibits or add quick context, such as “See Exhibit C — repair invoice.”
Keep it concise
Judges prefer timelines that fit on one or two pages. If your dispute spans years, summarize long quiet periods with one entry such as “No response from landlord Jan–Mar” so the focus stays on key actions. Before exporting the PDF, proofread names, amounts, and references to make sure they match your documents.
